Compass Mission Teams (where can you help?)

We are the shepherds of the group, assisting the Minister in the spiritual life and development of the congregation including leading worship service and tending to the flock.

We are the leaders yet servants to the congregation.  Whether it is preparing and serving the communion, collecting offerings, leading mission teams - all to share our mission and ministry. 

 The Worship team directly assists the Minister with plans to make our church Services interesting, uplifting, and enjoyable for the members and guests. We also are in charge of the "working parts" of each service coordinating with  Elders, Deacons, Media, and Welcome hosts. 

Our tasks are to develop a culture of generosity and abundance as needed to enable the mission of the church especially outside of our walls.

We are committed to the faith development of our youth of all ages.  We offer Worship and Wonder for our elementary-age youth.  This is a worship experience led by a Storyteller and Greeters in which our youth learn about worship and learn Bible stories.  The team also plans family events, intergenerational events, and other unique opportunities to deepen the faith of our youth and to welcome the families of our community.   We recognize that families have challenging schedules and we are committed to finding ways to offer these opportunities to meet the needs of our community.   

Our Mission is to develop Christian educational experiences and programs for all of our adults. 

The Compass Christian Church Disciples Men is a fellowship of men engaged in many activities within and outside of the church walls.

The Compass Christian Church Disciples Women is a fellowship of women engaged in many activities within and outside of the church walls.

The Health ministry supports the health and well-being of the congregation and beyond. Some activities we engage include: Monthly blood pressure checks, Refit fitness classes, and informational articles regarding health and wellness topics of interest. 

We are the folks behind the curtain each Sunday and special events making sure the sound system is at its peak and taking care of the video recording.

Our mission is to maintain and improve the church building and facilities so that we can worship in a safe, comfortable place.

We are the Stewards of God's Creation!  Mowing, gardening and general care of church grounds.

We are the overseers of matters of legal and procedural matters insuring we uphold the laws and policies surrounding our congregational activities.

We are tasked with the hiring and support of the employees of the church.

We are tasked with the website maintenance, Facebook events and posts, Instagram activities and more.  Help us get the word out through the use of the electronic world!
