The Faith Alliance of West Chester and Liberty Township is excited to announce the kick-off of its fourth year of sponsoring “X Days,” a community service project event that will take place the last two weekends of June. Center Pointe Christian Church, a Faith Alliance Church Partner, began the event 7 years ago as a way to “eXternally” be the church while serving others.

Church partners come together on X Days to be the “Hands and Feet” of Christ and serve others. Between 1,000 and 1,200 church volunteers serve at sites all over West Chester, Liberty Township, Hamilton, Middletown, Mason, and Cincinnati on their designated day. Between 70 and 100 different projects at both non-profits and private individuals’ homes are normally chosen by each participating church to serve at.

Some of last year’s project sites included: Serve City, Middletown Choice Market, One Way Farm, Pathway to Hope Women’s Shelter, Gettysburg Trailer Park, Hope’s Closet, Pine Hill Lodge, Birchwood, and Doverwood Nursing Homes, dozens of private residences of shut-ins and foster homes, Woodland Elementary, 5 West Chester fire stations plus many more. In addition, a field day was organized for disabled children at Joe Nuxhall Miracle Field Park as well as building a house with Habitat for Humanity.

The X Days event unifies area churches under one common mission, displaying to the community that “church” is not a building, but it is His people at work building relationships with others and spreading God’s love. The goal of this day is:  to show the love of Christ and to serve others in His name.

If your church group would like to participate OR if you know of a project that our partners may want to help with, please contact Sue at

Thank you for your time and service but mostly for getting out there to be the hands and feet of Jesus!!!

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. It’s as easy as signing up for a task.
