Local outreach connections and activities

Compass Christian Church is a member of the Faith Alliance -  a partnership of local churches dedicated to serving our neighbors in need.  Programs and activities include:  Food drives, Summer lunch program, and Stepping Forward Dinners.

Compass Christian Church supports the Reach Out Lakota programs including:  Holiday giving program, Backpack Ministries and more!

Compass Christian Church collects pill bottles for Matthew: 25 Ministries

Compass Christian supports the efforts of the Family Promise of Warren County (IHN) with their local emergency shelter and housing programs and efforts.

Compass Christian strives to support those in our immediate community through food drives to support the Mason Food Pantry.

Compass Christian Church participates wholly in covenant with our Regional network of congregations led by the Christian Church on Ohio.

Compass Christian enthusiastically supports Camp Christian programs, activities and site.    Members serve as counsellors, directors and participants in the many programs and we help with scholarships for summer youth camps.  This Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Ohio camp has been a strong provider of spiritual enrichment throughout many generations.

Compass Christian Church volunteers with mission efforts throughout the midwest serving in times of natural disasters and more.

Compass Christian supports the Church World Service efforts to provide sustainable self-help, development, disaster relief, and refugee assistance around the world.  Our annual Mother's day blanket program and Father's day tool program is just a small part.

Compass Christian supports the larger community of the Disciples of Christ Church through the stewardship programs.  

Compass Christian Church partners with the efforts of the Week of Compassion  - it is more than a week. It is a ministry of the whole Church, reaching those in need "around the world, around the year.” 

Compass Christian Church supports the efforts to end hunger and poverty in a sustainable way by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities. 

Compass Christian Church has personal ties to the efforts of LAFWA with the ministry of the planting of Haitian churches in the Dominican Republic.
